{"id":30682,"date":"2024-06-05T07:00:44","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T05:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mondonedoferrol.org\/?p=30682"},"modified":"2024-06-05T07:52:52","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T05:52:52","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mondonedoferrol.org\/gl\/la-catedral-de-lugo-acoge-este-domingo-la-ofrenda-del-antiguo-reino-de-galicia\/","title":{"rendered":"","raw":""},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false,"raw":""},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false,"raw":""},"author":2,"featured_media":30686,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_es_post_content":"El domingo siguiente a la celebraci\u00f3n del Corpus Christi tiene lugar en Lugo la <strong>Ofrenda del Antiguo Reino de Galicia al Sant\u00edsimo<\/strong>, un acto institucional y religioso en el que participan los mandatarios de las <strong>siete antiguas capitales del reino<\/strong>: A Coru\u00f1a, Betanzos, Lugo, Mondo\u00f1edo, Ourense, Santiago de Compostela y Tui.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\nUna tradici\u00f3n del a\u00f1o 1669<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nCon la ofrenda y la posterior procesi\u00f3n por la ciudad, los mandatarios de las siete ciudades cumplen con el voto solemne que hicieron en 1669, ante las dificultades econ\u00f3micas de la catedral de Lugo, para dotarla de una renta anual con la que iluminar el altar mayor de la bas\u00edlica, donde permanece expuesto de forma permanente, las 24 horas de los 365 d\u00edas del a\u00f1o, el Sant\u00edsimo Sacramento.\r\n\r\nDesde 1925 hasta nuestros d\u00edas, el rito se celebra del mismo modo, en el transcurso de una misa solemne en la que participan como oferentes, mediante turnos rotatorios anuales, los representantes municipales de las siete ciudades.\r\n\r\nEn esta ocasi\u00f3n, ser\u00e1 el alcalde de Mondo\u00f1edo, <strong>Manuel \u00c1ngel Otero<\/strong>, el encargado de hacer la ofrenda solemne en la seo lucense y encontrar\u00e1 respuesta, como marca la tradici\u00f3n, por parte del obispo de su di\u00f3cesis, en este caso la de Mondo\u00f1edo-Ferrol, <strong>monse\u00f1or Fernando Garc\u00eda Cadi\u00f1anos<\/strong>.
