En el punto de partida, los peregrinos contaron con el apoyo del alcalde de la localidad, \u00c1ngel Alvari\u00f1o, as\u00ed como del obispo de la di\u00f3cesis de Mondo\u00f1edo-Ferrol, Fernando Garc\u00eda Cadi\u00f1anos; las concejalas de Turismo e Igualdade, Mari\u00e1n Bello y \u00c1ngeles Puentes, respectivamente, adem\u00e1s del p\u00e1rroco Ram\u00f3n Antonio L\u00f3pez Rodr\u00edguez y el delegado diocesano de Peregrinaciones y Camino de Santiago, Chema P\u00e9rez.\r\n\r\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/-_S8FbZ6pVs\r\n\r\nEsta iniciativa est\u00e1 promovida por la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n de Amigos do Cami\u00f1o do Mar<\/strong>, responsable de las actuaciones para conseguir el reconocimiento \u201cxacobeo\u201d de este itinerario que comienza en Ribadeo y que, tras pasar por Barreiros, Foz, Burela, Cervo, Xove, O Vicedo, Ma\u00f1on, Ortigueira, Cari\u00f1o, Cedeira y Valdovi\u00f1o, se conecta en Neda con el Cami\u00f1o Ingl\u00e9s.\r\n\r\nLos participantes sellaron en el albergue nedense sus credenciales y las autoridades dejaron por escrito en el libro de la entidad su apoyo a la <strong>declaraci\u00f3n oficial de esta v\u00eda como ruta de peregrinaci\u00f3n a Compostela<\/strong>. A continuaci\u00f3n, todos los presentes se concentraron a las puertas del albergue, donde el regidor de Neda puso en valor una iniciativa que busca <strong>promover los concellos por los que discurre la v\u00eda de peregrinaci\u00f3n a Santiago<\/strong>. Por su parte, el obispo Garc\u00eda Cadi\u00f1anos los invit\u00f3 a disfrutar de la fraternidad, la introspecci\u00f3n y la solidaridad, es decir, de los <strong>\u201cvalores ligados a la peregrinaci\u00f3n\u201d<\/strong>, que cubri\u00f3 la distancia ente la villa y Pontedeume.\r\n\r\nFuente: Diario de Ferrol \/ Asoc.
