El encuentro, celebrado en la residencia Betania de Viveiro, cumple su tercer a\u00f1o consecutivo y reuni\u00f3 a periodistas para dialogar sobre retos sociales, eclesiales y patrimoniales.\r\n\r\nDon Fernando inici\u00f3 su intervenci\u00f3n recordando la enc\u00edclica <em>Rerum Ecclesiae<\/em> de P\u00edo XI (1923), que proclam\u00f3 a san Francisco de Sales como patr\u00f3n de la comunicaci\u00f3n cat\u00f3lica por su maestr\u00eda en la escritura evangelizadora. Subray\u00f3 el rol esencial de los medios en la democracia, especialmente en esta era de <strong>\u201cposverdad\u201d<\/strong>, donde deben fomentar el sentido cr\u00edtico en la sociedad.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\nPreocupaciones sociales en A Mari\u00f1a<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nEl prelado centr\u00f3 buena parte del di\u00e1logo en A Mari\u00f1a, <strong>\u201cpulm\u00f3n vital de la di\u00f3cesis\u201d<\/strong>, pero marcada por serias dificultades. Destac\u00f3 la <strong>crisis en el sector pesquero<\/strong>, con paros y protestas por el nuevo reglamento de control, que genera \u201cdificultades de futuro y reemplazo generacional\u201d. La <strong>situaci\u00f3n de Alcoa<\/strong>, con escaso optimismo, afecta a numerosas familias, mientras el turismo emerge como alternativa estacional pero fr\u00e1gil ante la falta de industria estable.\r\n\r\nFelicit\u00f3 a la <strong>nueva presidenta de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Lugo<\/strong>, la alcaldesa de Burela, y confi\u00f3 en que atienda estas realidades. Mencion\u00f3 asimismo la <strong>convivencia positiva con comunidades migrantes<\/strong>: la marroqu\u00ed en Terra Ch\u00e1, activa en agricultura y talleres de C\u00e1ritas, y la emergente indonesia en puertos como Celeiro, ante la que la di\u00f3cesis busca interlocutores de encuentro.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\nAvances eclesiales del 2025<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nEn el \u00e1mbito diocesano, don Fernando resalt\u00f3<strong> tres iniciativas clave<\/strong>: primero, el <strong>convenio con la di\u00f3cesis de Santiago de Cabo Verde<\/strong>, que incorpora al padre Joao Paulino G\u00f3mez Delgado Garc\u00eda para atender a la comunidad caboverdiana en Burela-Foz, junto al sacerdote Carlos Miranda Trev\u00edn; segundo, el <strong>proyecto de O Valadouro-Ferreira para corredores humanitarios<\/strong>, coordinado por la Conferencia Episcopal Espa\u00f1ola; y tercero, el <strong>refuerzo socioeducativo de C\u00e1ritas en Foz y Burela<\/strong> mediante apoyo escolar.\r\n\r\nRespecto al patrimonio, <a href=\"https:\/\/mondonedoferrol.org\/la-catedral-de-mondonedo-supero-los-24-000-visitantes-en-2025\/\">la catedral mindoniense registr\u00f3 24.000 visitantes en 2025<\/a>, pese a no alcanzar a\u00fan la sostenibilidad. Se ha renovado la audiogu\u00eda y se prepara una versi\u00f3n infantil, junto a obras de iluminaci\u00f3n, humedades y cubiertas. Fruto del convenio con la Xunta, avanza la <strong>restauraci\u00f3n del santuario de San Antonio de A Regueira<\/strong>. El obispo valor\u00f3 las colaboraciones con concellos como Ribadeo, Viveiro, A Mari\u00f1a y Terra Ch\u00e1 \u2013donde realiza la visita pastoral\u2013, y urgi\u00f3 m\u00e1s pasos para realzar otros enclaves, como el <strong>convento de Valdeflores<\/strong>, sin novedades recientes.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\nPeregrinaciones y clausura<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nPreguntado por el <strong>Camino de Santiago<\/strong>, elogi\u00f3 la <strong>iniciativa \u201cDe Catedral a Catedral\u201d<\/strong>, impulsada por bases ciudadanas de Mondo\u00f1edo, por su potencial frente a proyectos institucionales.
