La elevada asistencia puso de manifiesto el <strong>compromiso del vecindario con la conservaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n de la memoria hist\u00f3rica del territorio<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nLa jornada cont\u00f3 con la presencia del obispo de la di\u00f3cesis de Mondo\u00f1edo-Ferrol, <strong>monse\u00f1or Fernando Garc\u00eda Cadi\u00f1anos<\/strong>, quien acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a los autores en este encuentro. Durante su visita institucional, el prelado firm\u00f3 en el Libro de Oro del Concello, dejando constancia de su paso por Abad\u00edn en una fecha se\u00f1alada para la vida cultural de la localidad. Es de destacar que el prelado fue tambi\u00e9n el encargado del prologar esta obra: \"Este libro\", precisa en el <em>Limiar<\/em>, \"quiere acercarse a este lugar, a su significado m\u00e1s profundo y a su historia m\u00e1s reciente. No s\u00f3lo como un c\u00famulo de fecha y datos: es un eco resonante que viaja en el tiempo y en nuestro pasado. Y viaja a un lugar, a un epicentro inmutable que permanece en el coraz\u00f3n de tantas personas que cada \u00f1o le dan vida y acogen la vida que all\u00ed se respira\".\r\n\r\nDesde el Concello se destac\u00f3 la importancia de apoyar iniciativas que contribuyan a reforzar la identidad colectiva y a <strong>poner en valor el patrimonio hist\u00f3rico y religioso del entorno<\/strong>.
