Confieso que me han dolido y me han conmovido, a la vez que me han preocupado.\r\n\r\nSin duda, hemos asistido a una aut\u00e9ntica <strong>tragedia humanitaria<\/strong>. <strong>En primer lugar, me duelen las vidas humanas segadas<\/strong>. No s\u00e9 si un d\u00eda sabremos el n\u00famero real de los que han fallecido: pero no ser\u00e1n un mero n\u00famero, son personas concretas que han muerto en la esperanza de un mundo mejor. Se suman a los cientos de miles de personas que fallecen diariamente en las diferentes rutas migratorias que existen en todo el mundo y a los que cubrimos con nuestra indiferencia. <strong>Pienso en sus familias y en sus historias truncadas<\/strong>. La fotograf\u00eda de un cementerio de frontera con nichos en los que solo aparecen n\u00fameros es deshumanizadora. (AP Photo\/Antonio Sempere), ASCII[\/caption]\r\n\r\nJunto a ello, <strong>me duele la utilizaci\u00f3n e instrumentalizaci\u00f3n que se ha hecho de todas las personas que cruzaron la frontera<\/strong>, especialmente de los pobres y personas vulnerables con los que es f\u00e1cil jugar y utilizar. Entre ellos, perfiles tan distintos y con significado tan diverso, como nos se\u00f1alan los que est\u00e1n en el terreno. Me parece triste que, en la b\u00fasqueda de juegos de poder y de oscura pol\u00edtica, de movimientos geopol\u00edticos que utilizan la biopol\u00edtica, se haya jugado con cientos de miles de personas concretas que, en su desesperaci\u00f3n, han escuchado cantos de sirena y se han enfrentado a frustraciones, sufrimiento y muerte. Tambi\u00e9n aqu\u00ed podemos decir que, no solo \"esta econom\u00eda mata\" sino que tambi\u00e9n \"esta pol\u00edtica mata\".\r\n\r\nA mi mente han venido las <strong>palabras del papa Le\u00f3n en Canarias<\/strong> cuando invitaba, con tono firme y prof\u00e9tico a los que as\u00ed act\u00faan, a detenerse y convertirse. Por eso, me parece tan interesante la invitaci\u00f3n que el papa nos hace a custodiar la dignidad humana tan amenazada en esta nueva etapa de la historia. As\u00ed nos lo propone en la enc\u00edclica <em>Magn\u00edfica Humanitas<\/em>. Como tambi\u00e9n record\u00f3 el papa Juan Pablo II, quiz\u00e1s esta es hoy una tarea de la Iglesia de primer orden como servicio a la humanidad: desvelar, proteger y defender la dignidad de todo ser humano.\r\n\r\n<strong>Me duele igualmente el miedo con el que han vivido estos d\u00edas los habitantes de Ceuta<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n utilizados, que se han visto desprotegidos y vulnerados en sus espacios vitales. Ellos han de sentir mejor la protecci\u00f3n del Estado y la solidaridad del resto de comunidades. Junto a ello, no puedo obviar el agradecimiento por ser una sociedad integrada e integradora que ha sabido gestionar positivamente esta situaci\u00f3n tan compleja.\r\n\r\nNo obstante, tras la tormenta, <strong>me preocupan las consecuencias<\/strong>. Especialmente la situaci\u00f3n de los inmigrantes que han quedado en Ceuta, sobre todo los menores. Se trata de una ciudad peque\u00f1a, sobrepasada ante este reto. <strong>El respeto a la dignidad humana y el inter\u00e9s superior del menor, de acuerdo al marco jur\u00eddico, tienen que prevalecer y han de ser reivindicados<\/strong>. Se ha de cumplir la legalidad. Por eso, se presenta ante nosotros, ante el resto de tierras de esta \u00fanica piel de toro, un enorme reto que, como pa\u00eds, tenemos que afrontar unidos: ser capaces de acompa\u00f1ar a estos menores en su proceso de integraci\u00f3n y capacitaci\u00f3n en nuestro pa\u00eds.\r\n\r\nY tambi\u00e9n <strong>me preocupan las consecuencias sociales y culturales que este hecho pueda tener en el relato sobre la migraci\u00f3n y en los v\u00ednculos necesarios para crear una sociedad integradora<\/strong>. Hay inter\u00e9s pol\u00edtico y electoralista. Los discursos no son inocuos y hemos presenciado muchos relatos interesados que pueden generar miedo y rechazo, enfrentamiento y divisi\u00f3n. <strong>La cuesti\u00f3n migratoria<\/strong>, como fen\u00f3meno estructural de nuestro tiempo, <strong>hemos de saberla gestionar muy unidos, alej\u00e1ndonos de posiciones ideol\u00f3gicas y de emociones y poniendo mucha raz\u00f3n<\/strong> y, los cristianos, mucha fe. La raz\u00f3n y la fe nos dan un nuevo horizonte y perspectiva que no hemos de perder si queremos vivir este fen\u00f3meno de una manera humana.\r\n\r\nLa Iglesia nos recuerda que, ante el reto migratorio no bastan respuestas simples, parciales ni unilaterales. Es urgente una buena gobernanza que articule y ayude a conjugar diferentes principios que est\u00e1n presentes en este fen\u00f3meno de la movilidad humana: el derecho a migrar, el derecho a no migrar, el derecho de todo pa\u00eds al control de sus fronteras.
