El n\u00facleo principal es el de A Pontenova, entidad municipal relativamente moderna que naci\u00f3 al amparo de la carretera de Ribadeo y del ferrocarril minero.<\/p>\n<p>Referencias hist\u00f3ricas y art\u00edsticas: Iglesia parroquia, edificio de l\u00edneas modernas, amplio, construido a partir de la creaci\u00f3n de la parroquia.<\/p>\n<p>Otros edificios y monumentos:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Capilla das Foxas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Capilla de Saldoira.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Capilla de San Briz.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Capilla de Lavandeira.<\/p>\n<p>Prehistoria y etnograf\u00eda: Castro de Goios, en el que aparecieron sepulturas de probada antig\u00fcedad. Tambi\u00e9n hubo capilla. Casa da Torre en el lugar de Saldoira.
