Fecha de 1616. El fundador de la casa de Gaibor parece ser que fue don Pedro L\u00f3pez de R\u00e1bade y Sanmart\u00edn. Uno de sus descendientes, don Pedro L\u00f3pez de R\u00e1bade y Baamonde, en testamento de septiembre de 1599, manda que lo entierren en la iglesia de Gaibor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 <strong>Prehistoria y etnograf\u00eda<\/strong>: La iglesia parroquial se asienta sobre la acr\u00f3polis de un castro, conservando tal nombre una finca semicircular adyacente.
