En 1032 figura como l\u00edmite del Castro Santo de Labio con motivo de una cesi\u00f3n al obispo de Lugo, don Pedro, efectuada por el rey Bermudo III. El convento de dominicos de Montecubeiro cobraba por aqu\u00ed algunas rentas, seg\u00fan se deduce de una escritura de venta realizada por esta instituci\u00f3n a Santo Domingos de Lugo en 1633.
